TASK 5: The Dark Side of Textbooks, by spikyteachers

STAR WEEK 5

Hello!!

 I am Emma and this week I have been the star of my group.⭐

This week we had to do a task about dark side of textbooks. For the presentation we have been divide into groups. Each group was composed of a star and, at least, a member of the other groups. I had to facilitate the interaction between the others and go writtting the main ideas of our info graphic. After, the members had to put a mark in the paper with the ideas that they had to written  in their works.

The experience as star has been good and I thought that it was going to be worse because I am very nervious when I have talking in public. But, I think that this activity has been very entertaining.

TASK 4

This week we have explored the Creative Common Licence. We have learned how to use it and for what it is use.
To better explor the Creative Common Licence concept we had to do a presentation of max. 10 slides  to explain it.
Another actvity that we did this week was creating a presentation about 20 tips to create an excellent presentation.

FACILITATOR WEEK 4

Hello! I am Ana and this week I am the facilitator of the Spiky team.

The task of this week has been about presentations. We have talked about Creative Common Licence; and also we have created a presentation about a topic that we have chosen. This was complicated because we were indecisive, but finally we decided to do a presentation about music.

On Monday, we started the task and we have difficulties for work together. Nevertheless, we have solutions for everything and we decided to divide the work between each member of the group in order to find information about our topic.

On Tuesday, we met in order to create our presentation sharing and joining the information that we had found. We were working together with Sara, who was in Skype because she is ill. As I was the facilitator, I wanted to motivate my partner, so I decided to give them the “Motivation bag” with tasty food that we ate while we were resting. We finish our presentation and our star Andrea showed it on Wednesday with the company of her orchestra.

Finally, we met again on Thursday in order to finish the presentation about Creative Common Licence and the tips for doing an excellent presentation, Sara was again in Skype. Again we shared and joined the information that each member of the group had to find and we uploaded our presentation to Slidershare.

That is all for this week, we hope we have done a good job.

JOURNALIST WEEK 4

Hi people! I'm Victoria, the journalist of this week.
For the realization of this task we hav worked very hard in order to get our best.
It was imposible to met on Monday, so we serched for information about the topic that we have choosen via whatsapp at home. On Tuesday we met in our college school in order to create de slideshow and to organize our ideas. Ana, our facilitator of this week, sorprised us with some sweetsto work better.

As our team mate Sara was ill, we made a Skype call to facilitate the work ad to permite her to participate.

On Wednesday we defended our topic, and our classmates did thir presentations very well!

Finally, we met on Thuesday to end our slideshows.

We have found and interesting blog about the origin of the music. I think it could be useful!!

We have commented in ArchiTeachers blog, since we think that they have done a really good job!

ANALYST WEEK 4

Hi everyone! I'm Clara and this week I'm responsible for the analyst role.

This fourth task was about free resources and visual presentations, and in my opinion, the most suitable part of it was that, at the same time that we had to do an oral presentation for showing to our classmates an specific topic from Primary School, we had to elaborate another slideshow summarizing the main tips for doing an ideal presentation, what means that we first knew all the steps that we have to follow in order to do a good presentation, and after that we put it into practice.

Opposite to that, the worse part of this activity was that we didn't actually know how to do a slideshow for people to read it by themselves and not for presenting it orally, as we tend to do.

On the one hand, a positive aspect to emphasize, is that when we met all together on Tuesday afternoon, we spend a very good time, mainly because our facilitator took some snacks for all of us and from time to time we made breaks to relax and to recover energy in order to continue working. But I think that what really makes us being comfortable when we are together is that we are not workmates only, we all share a wonderful friendship relationship.

On the other hand, the worse moment of this week was Monday afternoon, because we had some problems to meet all together, as some members of our group weren't able to do it due to health problems and also because others had to go to their cities. Finally, we decided to divide the work for that afternoon and to look for information at home. It wasn't a very big problem, but we prefer to work the whole group together as much time as we can.

With this activity we have learned how to find and how to create free content in a legal way, and we also have learned the keys for creating and performing a good presentation. This knowledge is closely related to our degree because visual presentations can be required in any of our subjects. Besides, is compulsory to make those presentations and even any kind of work according to Creative Commons License.

To conclude, I could say that thinking on the next task, our whole group should keep our enthusiasm and our motivation because it makes us more positive, and we have to improve in the way that we divide our work, because this week sometimes two of us have been doing the same thing by mistake, so it makes us lose time for work.
